"We would like to take this opportunity to express our delight with our wonderful service we recently received from Chad Ingram, Jaguar Service Advisor, and mechanics who worked on our newly purchased 1997 Jaguar XK8. We were in the process of taking the vehicle home from Phoenix to Seattle when they pulley holding serpentine belt broke and the engine overheated. Of all the places to break down, we were lucky, because Desert European Motorcars was just 8 miles away. It is not often that a Service Manager goes beyond the extra mile to ensure a client's piece of mind and satisfaction; however it simply was a pleasure dealing with Chad Ingram. He took every measure to ensure that his service delivery was impeccable from start to conclusion of our dealings. He started out by understanding we were on the road and had to get back to Seattle as soon as possible. Chad arranged that a mechanic from the Land-Rover garage start working on the vehicle as soon as we arrived on Friday, because Jaguar mechanics were not available. They were able to get the pulley and belt back on but determined that in the process of overheating the antifreeze had sprayed on the number 8 cylinder coil and shorted it out causing the engine to misfire. The coil needed to be ordered and wouldn't arrive till Monday. At that point it was 6:00 Friday evening. We didn't have plans on staying in Palm Springs and were trying to figure out what our options were. Chad was very present and understood our situation and offered to provide us a new Jaguar XK coupe to use while our Jaguar was being repaired. What could have been a very hectic weekend ended up being a very enjoyable adventure around the Palm Springs area in a very wonderful Jaguar. It was nice to experience the new technology that new XK was equipped with. Chad was very timely in communicating with us the details and next steps while Jaguar was being serviced. The repair was more complicated then what had been expected and required another day to diagnose the problem and get the repair completed. We were able to continue our journey home Tuesday evening.
It was good to know that Desert European Motorcars believes in good client services. When we tell our friends of our adventure with the Jaguar Desert European Motors and Chad's professionalism and generosity is part of our story. We have no doubt that when we are in the market for a new vehicle we will return to Desert European Motorcars when we are ready to upgrade. Once again it was a pleasure doing business with Desert European Motorcars."
